To Draw a Full Halo Around an Element

Select the Full Halo tool from the Functions toolbox.
In the tool settings window, define the settings you want to apply.
Identify the element.
Accept the function at the required perpendicular distance from the element.

Note: This can slow printing so only simple elements should be used. Placing the full halo on a simplified copy of an element often gives excellent results.

Considerable computation resources are required to draw the halo if it occupies the entire screen. To prevent what appears to be Bentley Map freezing, halos will not be drawn for those cases where the halo would cover the entire screen.

The variable CS_FORCE_DRAWHALO = 1 can be defined to override this behavior and try to draw the halo in all cases.
